Make this year a leap of faith. A year you finally go after what you really want, in the direction of your own dreams, along the road that leads you to what matters the most. Each year we start with such high expectations. We say the most cliche thing - "New year, new me". We make plans, create goals, and step confidently forward. Then life gets in the way. We get stuck and wrapped up in our own little failures. Then we get distracted by other ideas that are unknown. We find ourselves spending way too much time doing meaningless things like constantly browsing through social media, or surrounding ourselves with the wrong people, rather than pushing ourselves outside of the norm. And then time passes and we find ourselves back to where we started - still in the same place. As we begin the year, break this vicious cycle. Don’t...

Adjustments.

8pm, I sat and took the time to reflect. It was the moment that I got to thinking about all the times throughout my life. Despite the hard times, I had to think thoroughly and clearly, thoughts of needs to change, in order to make life work for me instead of against me. There is always a lesson to learn if you take the time to look and as with most lessons, its hard. It takes adjustments. This year, I have things to do and accomplish. Doing it the normal way isn't possible any more. I had to change perspective about life in order to get the results I needed. I had to not only change the way I think but also my actions. "The one thing all career girls know in their 20's is that this time only comes once, and that "being young is not synonymous with being stupid. Hard work is exactly what it sounds like - hard and work. But it leads to a life that is filled with options and freedoms and thrilling challenges. Because when you're looking down the barrel of 40, you'll be glad you made the right choices that enabled you a better life. It might not be sexy enough for an HBO show, but its definitely worth it." -JK Sometimes, our lives must be completely shaken up and changed to get us on the path to where we are meant to be. I don’t know about you, but mine has been shaken on the rocks way too much. It has been twisted and turned so many times that I am surprised I still know how...

Dealing with long distance relationship

I was always suspicious and extremely cautious about dealing with long distance relationships. Not only the distance that makes you ruminate but also how much time and effort needed to be exerted. Sometimes I hear people complain about how infrequently they saw their significant other because he or she live miles away. I also read that long distance relationships are becoming viable alternative to breaking up. But to most couples that are in the long-distance, it means that if they can survive the distance, they can survive anything. "It takes two to tango." People tend to think that dealing with long distance relationship is one of the hardest possible ways of loving someone, in which I also believed. I had once understood that these kind of relationships are bizarre. But same month last year, I happened to meet someone that proved my thoughts completely wrong. A keeper. I'm currently in a long...
